PAD00x-T764 Isolation Transformer Series Helps Enhance Safety by Isolating High Voltage Risks Between Systems
September 29, 2021 - Bourns, a globally recognized leader in the manufacturing and supply of electronic components, introduces its new PAD00x-T764 isolation transformer series. These transformers feature functional isolation and a slim 0.4mm profile, simplifying the integration of isolated power supplies and serial communication signal integrity in applications such as CAN, RS-485, RS-422, RS-232, SPI, I2C, and low-power LAN-based systems. The Bourns® PAD00x-T763 series is an ideal choice for industrial automation, embedded solutions, AC motor drivers, system integration, communication physical layers, smart metering, and a wide range of other applications that require low DC power supplies.

The Bourns® PAD00x-T764 series is specifically developed to simplify and maintain correct communication between systems while providing necessary isolation. With a 3.1 kVAC withstand voltage, it provides an isolation barrier for high-voltage risks such as high-voltage batteries. The design details include a structure with a ferrite ring core, which helps ensure a high coupling coefficient and greater efficiency. The transformer windings are reinforced for EMI performance to reduce electromagnetic interference. The Bourns® PAD00x-T764 series transformers are compatible with transformer drivers such as Texas Instruments' SN6501 and SN6506B, Maxim's MAX253 and MAX845, and Analog Devices' ADM2485. The series offers inputs of 3.3 to 5 V, industry-standard outputs of 3.3 to 10 V, and outputs up to 250 mA with various winding ratios. The Bourns magnetic product line also supports parameter modifications and customization requirements for this push-pull transformer series.
